INTRODUCTION
The Ram Sevikas are the female devotees of Lord Rama, who consider Lord Rama
as everything for them. They have dedicated their entire life towards praising
him, thinking about him and worshipping him whole heartedly. During
the Treta Yuga, The female divine attendants of Lord Rama were blessed
by him, to be born as Ram Sevikas in this Kali Yuga! After being born in Ayodhya, as Ram Sevikas,
they remain in the thoughts of Lord Rama for most of the time, and they used to
spend their time cheerfully.
Ram Sevikas are still being honoured by the people of Ayodhya,
since they actively take part in the construction of the proposed Ram Temple in
Ayodhya! Ram Sevikas dedicated their entire life towards glorifying Lord Rama,
and they would dance and perform pujas to Lord Rama, and would shower their
unlimited affection on him.
There are more
than hundreds of Ram Sevikas who are living in Ayodhya. All of them have
considered Lord Rama as their friend, philosopher, guide and god. Their bondage
with Lord Rama is like that of a mother and a child. They would imagine
themselves as if they gently press the feet of Rama, kiss him, embrace him, and
also would decorate him with flowers and flower garlands. They have imagined
like this, only out of their pure affection and faith on the great almighty
Lord Rama. The Ram Sevikas are said to express their unconditional love and
pure bhakti on Lord Rama by many ways, and their deep devotion can be
witnessed clearly if we visit Ayodhya.
We
can mention the ancient female Ram Devotees like Ma Sabari, Ma Tara and Ma Ruma
similar to the Ram Sevakis, since have sincerely worshipped Lord Rama as their
divine master. We can also compare the bhakti of Ram Sevakis on Lord Rama, with
the bhakti shown by Sri Lakshmana on Lord Rama. Hence Let us praise and praise
whole heartily and appreciate the bhakti of the precious GEM Stones Ma Ram Sevikas, and let us be blessed.
