Bhurishravas

INTRODUCTION: 

Bhurishravas was a prince in the kingdom of Bahlika and he was a noble character in Mahabharatha. Bhurishravas was the grandson of the great King Sri Bahlika, who was the incarnation of Sri Bhakt Prahalad.

Bhurishravas father was Somadatta, who was also a noble king and the son of Bahlika. The Bhor Saidan village named after Bhurishravas is located near Kurukshetra  is one of the famous tourist  site in Kurukshetra which is situated in the state of Haryana. Bhurishravas had contained many good qualities such as providing food to the people, and patiently listening to the problems of the people and tackling it in a proper manner, and acted as a SAVIOUR for  the people.

Bhurishravas fought in the Kurukshetra War from the Kaurava side, and he was a great warrior and trained in handling all weapons. He was killed in the Battle by the army of Pandavas, and after his death, he reached the abode of Lord Indra, the swarka loka and become a demi god in the heaven.
