Introduction
There is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Muruga, which is known as Sri Veera Senatipati Temple, but this precious temple is situated only in the Indra Loka, the divine abode of Lord Indra Deva.
Lord Muruga married the daughter of Lord Indra, Ma Devasena, and he has also defeated the powerful demon Surapadman in the war. As a result, in order to show his great bhakti towards Lord Muruga, his father-in-law, Sri Indra Bhagavan has built a wonderful temple for Lord Muruga on his holy abode, the beautiful Indra Loka, and this rare information was found in one of the ancient Puranas, the Great Skanda Purana. This temple was constructed by the divine architect, Sri Viswakarma, during the first Krita Yuga, and it is believed that still daily pujas, decoration and holy bath are being carried out at this temple, by the divine priests like Brihaspati, Brahma and by the sages. In this temple, Lord Muruga can be seen seated on a precious beautiful golden throne with smiling face, along with his consorts, Ma Valli and Ma Devasena, and the statues of the deities were made out of pure gold. But this wonderful temple was mentioned nowhere, but, somehow, due to the grace of my beloved Lord Muruga, I was able to read about this temple from an old Skanda Purana Book, which I bought it from a road side vendor!
Apart from building a nice temple for Lord Muruga, the great Indra Bhagavan has also written some famous songs in praise of Lord Muruga, and he has named it as “SRI VEERA SENATIPATI NAVARATNAMANIMALA”, and some of the contents present in the wonderful sacred poem are as follows:
Lord

is the head of the warriors and he is the chief most warrior god.
