INTRODUCTION
Hari Sitaram Dixit also known as Kakasaheb Dixit was a famous advocate in Mumbai and visited Sai Baba in 1909 through the advice of his friend Nana Chandorkar. He was the main person responsible for the establishment and development of Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan and he served as Honorary Secretary till his last breath, and he died in the year 1926. He spread the importance of Sai Baba among the people, and developed them the habit of worshiping him regularly. He also properly administered in publishing the Monthly Magazine of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan till July 1926.
He was born in 1864 into a pious Brahmin family at Khandwa. He was a brilliant student and completed his law degree with good marks. He has started his practice at Mumbai, and served as an honest lawyer. Through his good service, he has got a good name among the people, and was highly praised by them. He had done lot of valuable service to the public. He was good at giving spiritual lectures, and developed the bhakti spirit among the people. He also went to foreign countries, and gave lectures about spirituality among the people.
He properly administered the Samadhi shrine of Saibaba at Shirdi. Till his death, he has got great devotion on Baba and served him with utmost faith.
