INTRODUCTION : 
Sri Mannuruti Swamigal (20th century) was lived in Pondicherry and used to wander in the streets of Pondicherry and finally settled in his devotee’s house at Pondicherry. He was born in Pondicherry into a pious Hindu family, but left his house at his younger age towards seeking spirituality.
Initially people didn’t realize his powers and thought that he was a mad man, but after seeing his spiritual powers, they have regarded him as a great saint. For his sincere devotees he used to give the holy vibudhi (Sacred ash) as prasadam. Those who consume it with water would be relieved from their diseases and would get great spiritual energy. He was a kind hearted saint and used to talk with others only occasionally. Sometimes he used to play with the children in the streets and gently rub their hands and bless them. And those children who have received his blessings were became great persons in their life.
In the year 1965, he has attained Jeeva Samadhi in his devotee’s house at Pondicherry.
